Wood log- Vessels
The works listed here are examples of the more artistic side of wood turning. Though a small bowl or vessel might find a use, they really are more like art objects in their own right. I really enjoy making this type of work, taking the time to make all the little details just so, crisp and perfect. The finishes I use for this type of work varies, but it's usually a blend of oils mixed with a film finish. Applied, wiped off and allowed to dry, it takes time to build up the layers. The last step is to wax and buff to a deep luster.
